As someone who has been a Live Gold subscriber for the past couple years and just bought a PS3, it's a joke comparing them. PS+ with it's free games is so much better than Live Gold. Getting Uncharted 3 for free ($35+ in store) almost covers the cost of the service for a year. Now I can get Battlefield 3 for free (2011 release) and sometime in the coming months I can get Halo 3 for free (2007 release). If this is any indication of the future of these two services I don't see much of a reason to stick with Microsoft.
