3) Well, if you're upset about this then you're upset about this. I question why though. In the Monahan-Lindholm debate thread I wanted Monahan but Lindholm is a top notch prospect too. Fans tend to get too focused on their guy and the tunnel vision blocks out the positives of other players.
As for Monahan... if he develops he'll be a number one centre. Not in the Crosby, Malkin, Thornton, area. But more along the lines of Jonothan Toews. You won't see Monahan pop 50 goals and 100 points like those guys but he'll be a 30 goal, 70-80 point guy... all the while being the leader you need, playing physical, playing the two-way all situations type guy.
He's an excellent building block.

1) I just meant if they fell to 6th, I'd take them instead of Monahan/Lindholm. However, odds of that were very low. I'm not upset about this, just an order pf preference.
2) If the rumored deal was true, I'd do that deal in a second. Seguin has much higher ceiling than SM. And JG is still a longshot.
3) I'd rather we drafted Lindholm or VN, but I guess each of us have their own opinion.
