I will have to admit ignorance on this pick as well as I was very high on the Q rookie of the year and 6'2 215 lb right winger, 40 goal scorer, who still has a couple of years to even get better than that....Zykov. I was so excited when Zykov was still on the board as I felt he would probably get picked up before #22 and when I heard some guy's name I never even heard being mentioned in the top 30 picked by us, I was in shock and disbelief the first few minutes and couldn't say anything except "what ?". The next few minutes were spent trying to refrain myself from putting my fist through the TV. The next few minutes were spent trying not to get physically ill- lol. I think I'm done my 8 stages or whatever it is.
Now, I have had a day to digest this, did a bit of reasearch and I feel a bit better about things. Now, don't get me wrong, I would of prefered Zykov, but, obviously these guys know more than me and I do love the wheels on this guy and the talk about his character and compete level in every aspect of the game and he is the clear cut leader by example on his team. So while I will put my Feaster voodoo doll away for now, I think I will watch the progress of both players to see if I was out to lunch or not, for my own personal interest.
