Hard to tell, but it sounds like he had a bit of a late bloom/strong second half. He also plays in Gatineau and from what I recall, Gatineau didn't have as strong of a team this year or at least nothing to really write home about. If people are scouting the Ottawa region they're probably only heading this way to see Monahan. It seems like a pretty strong recipe for an under the radar player.
