If Calgary wants to get better, then they need to actually utilize the pieces they are accumulating. If the roster is going to stay the same as last year, we can expect the results to be the same. The following setup inserts a new body on every line.

Baertschi - Backlund - Jones
Hudler - Knight - Cammalleri
Glencross - Monahan - Stempniak
Bouma - Stajan - Jackman

I could see this being the lines on opening night, barring any further deals. What's essential here though, is that if they bring in anyone, then someone has to go.

They would already have to demote Reinhart and Horak to the Heat again with this roster, which I don't like one bit. Ideally, Cammalleri, Glencross, Stajan and Jackman are all traded.
