By that standard, it would seem that Poirier was a fairly good pick.
I'd like to think Feaster kicked the tires on trading down to #23, but Washington wasn't willing to give anything up for such a small move.
Trading down to #24 would have meant doing a deal with Vancouver, and given how pissy Gillis reportedly was about trading Schneider to a divisional opponent, I can't see how that deal could have been made.
And then you're right down to #25, the guy yelling, 'Pick me! Pick me!' (See Rule #17.)
