i would say 8/10.
Monahan-been a fan all along. If you want a big #1 center, you gotta draft them. Outstanding hockey sense-which is important for a center, and underrated offense and two-way ability.
Poirier-i don't believe we will be sorry they passed on Shinkaruk for this guy. Unbelieveable skater who plays well in all 3 zones, plus-he has size and plenty of grit.(they listed him at 6'1.5" on TSN)
Klimchuk-looks like a poor mans Eberle. draft day stats of both players are eerily similar.
Kanzig-read a scouting report a few hours ago that said something like,"if he is mad stay out of his vicinity". that said,he shouldve been picked much later.
Roy-despite reports that he lacks hockey sense, i think hes a steal. Big, quick, plays with an edge and can put up numbers. his team was horrible this year.
Harrison- crasher and banger? totally off the map.
Rafikov-like him based on scouting reports. 6'1", plays with an edge, good puck skills indicating a possible offensive upside(although he's a defensive guy) and a good skater. Recommended to Conny by Igor Kravchuk i hear.
Gilmour-20 year old undersized d-man who plays on Jankowski's team. Kind of a head scratcher......
all in all, pretty excited about the new guys.
