I remember all those mock drafts that were posted here and one of them, at some point like a month or two ago, had us take Emile Poirier with the PIT pick and everyone in that thread just went "lol who" and "he won't be a 1st rounder". Kind of funny that we really took him in the first round now.

At first I was like "noooo, WTF?", but I like the pick more and more the more I read about the kid ... if he can really play RW then even better. It was maybe a bit off the board but he fits a lot of criteria and actually seemed to have a really good season. We'll see how he develops. I'm a bit more excited about Klimchuk though.
