Here's where the trust comes from:
Jay Feaster is not the dumbest man in the universe. Dumb for dumb, he can't begin to compete with 99% of the people who make up trade rumours.
There is dumb. There is dumber, and there is even dumberer. Then there is weapons-grade dumb, then there is Eklund-grade dumb . . . then there's about 50 feet of crap (thank you, Moneyball) . . . and then there's the kind of dumb that blames Feaster for trades that only exist on Twitter.
I trust that most trade rumours are so far from reality, I would be a fool to worry about them. The only sane reaction is to laugh and move on.
