How about showing some patience and don't listen to the delta bravos who are projecting problems with getting him signed. The kid comes to our development camps on his own dime. I think that speaks to his commitment toward being a Flame and a pro hockey player!

The only reason you trade Johnny now is if there is legit fear he will pull a Schultz and lose him for nothing and let a team like Boston or New Jersey get him for free. If the flames are 100% confident they can sign him then you don't need to make that deal
