And yet he played with Plekanek and Gionta. Two smaller guys that needed Bourque to create the space for them to perform.
Put Cammalleri on that line and it fails..... not just a theory.... that was Cammalleri's line on the 27th place Canadians... Cammalleri sucked on that team and was just so happy to get back with Iginla rather than playing with two other undersized guys.
Now he is looking at the Flames and sees he will likely get put on a line with 2 other undersized guys. Why do you think he wants to get moved???
People put lines together with Baertschi and Hudler. Might work with Lindros in his prime or Messier at centre.
Why is Edmonton picking one pick back of the Flames????
Who creates space and havoc for Hall or Eberle or RNH or Gagner or Yakopov or Hemsky?
Every one of these players is better than Bourque..... A Bourque type player is needed to make these lines actually work.
Jones is a much more valuable asset than Hudler or Tanguay or Stempniak or Stajan to this version of the Flames. There is a reasonable chance that Jones could play on a line and with Backlund and Baertschi and make them better...... No chance of them being a successful line with Hudler.
