As a current CP employee I wouldn't doubt in the slightest that Hunter Harrison would make a comment like that.
I imagine many of my co-worker will be in for discipline statements in the coming weeks for not getting to our office downtown when the area was closed off, or had their homes destroyed or evacuated. It's the kind of company we work for after all.
As for the rush hour issue and such....the Railway was there long before most infrastructure I imagine a little foresight would have gone a long way. It's like people who build homes next to track and complain about the noise......surprise! Trains make noise!
I also live next to a one of the most used sidings in Alberta, the noise isn't that bad.
