He isn't anything special but he isn't just a facewash guy who is good for maybe 40 games either, he can play defense and has done so on some pretty deep teams.

He had one of the lowest TOI for those deep teams and was a 5/6 guy in terms of ice time on both those teams.
He has looked awful his last 3-4 years and pretty bad before that as well.
He can fill in on your bottom pairing if need be but will get beat a lot, give up a ton of goals, act like a tough guy after guys walk around him and fight. That can be useful on a bad, soft team but not close to a guy that should be getting top 4 minutes.
