Regardless, two guys of Sarich and Tanguay's ages had no business being around this rebuild, especially still so early in the process. Glad we unloaded 'em.

Jones isn't just entering his prime. He is on the downswing of prime. Most players have their most productive seasons before they are 29 (like ages 25-27).
I think if Jones can get 15 goals over a full season, that would be amazing. Still not worth $4 milliion.
Could you imagine if we still had David Moss and paid him that much? Because that is what we are getting.
