Dealing with the same issue.
Went to Auto Temp or something like that in the NE, 32nd ave. No prices on products and they just ramble prices and throw out install times, oh... 3 hours at $75 per.

Went to Audio Concepts, 32nd ave, again, no prices on anything... same ramble, but install went to 4 hours and $80 or $85.

Couldn't get firm prices on anything, "oh, something like that would be in the $500 area" "rear camera, say $300"

First question was "what is your budget" which then I felt like I was being showing the same product regardless if I had said anything $300 lower. Who knows, there's no prices or info available to show what you're getting.

Went to visions... stood around, was told I'd be helped in a minute, wasn't... waited... needed to pee... Left

Futureshop Northland, dump, barely anything there, hidden in a hole, no one noticed me, went to ask for help and kid was walking the other way, I left.

Never thought I'd miss Soundsaround.

Best Buy "sold" their product lines to Futureshop, whatever that means.

I forgot what an awful business auto stereo equipment was. I've given up for maybe 6 months and feel pity for you both. Let me know if you don't get that icky feeling from somewhere and maybe I'll try them.
