I'm half tempted to send our excavator down there, because it looks like what is needed is an army of dump trucks and back hoes. Equipment like that is going to ruin roads though, so I doubt the city would be ok with it.

It won't make much of a dent with the amount of crap downtown, but I will note that I'm coming downtown with my company on Saturday and we're bringing two 53ft semi's and a bunch of volunteers and we'll be helping people with large junk removal wherever we can, and Bigtime's street looks like a good place to start.
