As for Kipper I didn't like the way he went out last year whith Hartley's system hanging him out to dry on a nightly basis. If he still wants to play and there's a draft pick or two in it for the Flames I would be totally fine with him playing in Columbus as they play a good defensive system that will help Kipper look like Kipper again and not the old guy that was getting shelled behind a team that had no commitment to defense.

Is a goalie that requires a good defensive system to shine really that great of a goalie? I think Kipper was top notch, but there is something to be said for the fact that the only times he hasn't played in a uber defensive system (Keenan and Hartley) that he hasn't really looked all that good.
