Sure linemen are certainly aware of him but if you've ever played DL then you're aware of any slotback cracking down on you. I just feel he would be better by being a little quicker and not needing to push off defenders to create separation. As a receiver, that extra weight doesn't mean a whole lot... Unless the Stamps plan on using him as a TE or a slot lined up close to the line and he'll be asked to block. In that case carrying the extra pounds would be helpful.
EDIT: To be fair to Lewis, he's an athletic freak. The things he can do on the field are crazy for his weight. I just feel he could be better

I played DE at a pretty high level, and while I was aware of any SB cracking I would have been especially aware of one who had the ability to flat out destroy me even if I saw him coming. That gives a team a huge edge, both on game day and in the lead up as it's something that needs to be factored into the game plan. I haven't seen the guy play a lot, but weight loss does not equal lighter on your feet or increased speed, it simply doesn't work that way.
