Kristo, an alternate captain for North Dakota, was suspended early this year for organizing a team party (with the other captains) and serving alcohol to underage members of the club. For Kristo, who had been disciplined for his own underage drinking as a freshman and lost games that year as a result, many stated that he should have known better. There was also a strange frostbite incident in Kristo’s sophomore season that cost him games, and what exactly happened that night has never been fully explained. It is these off-ice questions of maturity, that seem to be the biggest question marks surrounding Kristo at this point in time."

Yep don't really see this as an issue. There are plenty of parties at University and its part of the norm for most students. Also the underage drinking is not a big deal because the legal drinking age in the US is 21. I had a few friends go down to the US on sports scholarships and i can tell you they did not wait 3 years until the cracked their first beer.
Also even if he was high on drugs in the frostbite incident, that does not make it a "drug problem" like Ashasx suggested. It very well could be a one time incident of experimenting. Been there and done that.
