Marketable in terms of value as a hockey player. He's skilled, only 30, seems to be well liked by teammates, and performed well in the playoffs with the Canadiens.
I think the whole contract thing is not as big a deal as some are making it out to be. He's got
one year left on the contract which is very low risk for a team taking him on. No need to take a bad contract for a player that has only one year left at that price. If we do - it should be a similar player that is coming off the books after one year.
Of course his value could go up as it gets closer to the start of the season and/or towards the deadline.
