You have utterly failed to address my point. It does not matter one iota what acts go to the Bridgestone Arena relative to the Saddledome. It does not matter how big their acts are. The one and only thing that matters is the willingness of the team and city to invest the necessary money and resources to repairing the facility in the time they have. And I really don't think that the Flames are going to say "well shoot, we don't get the kind of acts they do in Nashville, so we simply won't dedicate those resources." Do you?
Your argument, as presented, is silly. It would make a lot more sense to argue that the flooding is worse, and the time frame is shorter, therefore Calgary is less likely to be able to repair in time.
