Yesterday King mentioned that he talked to David Poile and they discussed the similar flooding issues that the Predators had in 2010. He mentioned that they were barely able to get everything in place for the start of the season.

That flood happened in early May, and at its highest, the water level inside the arena was only about one foot deep: http://predators.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=528207

If that relatively small amount of water took that long to recover from, it's hard to believe they can get the Saddledome in game shape for September/October.
