I assume most employers will be very accommodating. I'm giving my guys the option of working or not and leaving it up to them to decide what's best for them. I sent everyone home early on Friday (up here in the NW we didn't realize how bad things were south of the Bow until after people had arrived for their shifts). So far most guys have wanted to come in and have just needed some extra flexibility with their shifts.

For downtown stuff, hopefully most companies can arrange for their people to work from home and maybe have a skeleton crew actually come down town in the early days. It's definitely important to not clog things up down there so the clean up and repairs can be made as quickly as possible, but it's also important to get businesses up and running to minimize the damage to individual companies and the economy in this province overall.

I have faith that almost everyone will use common sense and things will be back to normal or at least functional as soon as possible.
