That's assuming he would consider provincial or federal politics a step
up. He loves being Mayor - as he always says it's the level of government that truly has the greatest impact on all our day-to-day lives and is not mired in the hyper-partisanship of political parties.
That said, no one knows his future plans, I believe not even him - he truly is just focused on being Mayor and improving our city - his passion (that can often be a cliché, but it's true - and after all, he is less than 3 years in).
