And not just a Calgarian. An Albertan. So many communities in the province affected and so many in those communities with this same attitude. And so many across the province who are not affected that want to roll up their sleeves and dig in and help. It's pretty amazing and I know it's sappy as hell, but I'm a chick so I get to be sappy, lol. But I keep thinking of some of the lyrics of Paul Brandt's song Alberta Bound and for me at least, those words really resonate right now.
