I have no idea why you would post this trash in a thread about the saddledome either. Here on CP, regardless of your political stripe, I think most of us are as disappointed and saddened by the damage to the saddledome as anyone. Yet you decide to take cheap political shots and try to turn things into an argument. What a disgrace.

I think you completely missed the point of his post, he was actually trying to be encouraging while giving an example of recent hard times in the City. I don't get the impression he has any intention of discussing politics it was just used for clarification. Definitely some people are going through terrible, terrible times right now and we need to do all we can to stand shoulder to shoulder.
