Many here are wondering where the Flames could temporarily play next season. There would be many non NHL cities to go to such as Saskatoon, Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Portland, Oregon.
The New Orleans Hornets (now the Pelicans) of the NBA did relocate to Oklahoma City for two seasons due to Hurricane Katrina.
