I am so glad that most people are above pettiness and know there is a time to put politics aside and come to together to help each other. That includes our political leaders, I don't agree with many of their policies, but I don't doubt their genuine desire to do whatever it takes to get this city back on its feet.

As for people saying the Stampede will be cancelled, not a chance. The people of Calgary will come together like never before and make it the best Stampede yet. Having lived away from Calgary for a number of years and now being back, this city has a spirit and resolve like nothing else I have seen.
