Elbow drive at Lansdown Ave
Here I saw some Calgarians bringing the Police fresh coffee and donuts from Tim Hortons. You can see the coffee box in the officers hand.
The view of the Elbow River from Britania drive. There are people right down by the water which did not seem like a smart idea to me.
It seems to me there are way too many tourists out on the streets right now. I took my bike out for a bit to take these pics, but decided to turn back after having to watch police argue with people why they couldn't go any further down the road. "We were allowed to go down here in 2005" is not a valid excuse for walking by the police line. Especially with a 4 year old kid.
