Well he's 17, actually. Clearly too late for him to improve his game in any meaningful way.
Barkov is strong in traffic and protects the puck well, but he's not someone who looks for hits. I don't think that's a priority for someone who plays his style, but of course he'll have to improve on his physicality when he gets to the NHL like every player.
However, reports make it sound like the top-4 is set and it's very difficult to trade up, so I don't know how relevant Barkov is to the Flames.
