The 2005 flood was less than a 1 in 20 on the Bow and 1 in 30 on the elbow IIRC.

The water shown on those maps represent a 1 in 100 year flood. The floodway is where the flowing water level would be. The Flood Fringe is where water would pond and the corresponding step elevations indicate the elevation of flood waters. The overland flow zone is the area that flood waters would bypass the river alignment to shortcut bends and such.
