The thing in common with both storms is that they featured a lot of driving rain coming from the east rather than the N or W. I suspect it is an envelope issue (Cedarglen home, 2007) and have called a home inspector I dealt with once a decade ago to come take a look next week.

My inlaws have envelope issues as well....good luck getting anything from the builders.
