After a storm last year we had noticed a tiny damp spot above our kitchen table and then this morning there was water tracks across the ceiling and maybe a gallon of water on my counters and floor where it had dripped out of a light fixture.
The thing in common with both storms is that they featured a lot of driving rain coming from the east rather than the N or W. I suspect it is an envelope issue (Cedarglen home, 2007) and have called a home inspector I dealt with once a decade ago to come take a look next week.
