The Flames have not had a 2nd round pick from 2005 until last year when they took Sieloff. ( A CP fact checker can look into this i don't have time).
Mentioned that the Flames have had a strange trend of not drafting from the OHL which continues to produce the most NHL players yearly.
Last OHL player the Flames drafted 5 years ago TJ Brodie. In those past 5 years 180 OHL players have been drafted and made it to the NHL.
Again the Flames do not have a 2nd round pick in this draft and last night between Boston and Chicago there were 11 first round picks and 10 second round picks playing.
Said that he feels if history repeats itself that the Flames will not select from the OHL much talked about Sean Monahan.
If all of this is true...
Todd Button just what have you been doing at the draft, clearly being out scouted by most teams and running the future into the ground.

Just want to clarify that is what Shannon said i'm just posting it.
amazing how someone in the media can throw out "facts or figures" around like that and they are not true hey. The 960 morning crew didn't correct him so how accurate are they as interviewers as well.
