Yeah, I think this is about Ujiri wanting to take his time and if the team sucks next year, he can call it a rebuilding year, hang it on Casey, get a good draft pick, and move on with a new coach. I don't think Casey's a good coach, probably a solid defensive coach and that's about it, but it will be interesting to see how minute management changes. If young players get a lot of minutes and veterans are stuck with end-of-bench minutes, then that's an indication that a lot of the minute-management that we saw last year was coming from Colangelo. I don't think the assistant coaching staff has been renewed yet, so we'll see if they bring in a guy who can draw up on offense.
I do like the sound of of the management team that Ujiri has brought in so far... all sound like smart, energetic, hard-working and well-respected guys.
