I don't blame Cammalleri though. He's 31, in his last year of his contract, and he came here thinking he would be playing with Iginla and competing for the playoffs. Feaster can talk all he wants but if he's not offering Cammalleri an extension, Cammalleri isn't stupid enough to think he's part of the solution.
As for the return, I'm thinking that the most likely return will come in the form of a younger version of a Stempniak/Bourque type player. A streaky scorer making solid money with 2-3 years of team control left. Cammalleri is a productive player, but $6M cap hit is a lot to add to a team in today's environment and teams looking to make the cap floor probably aren't liking the $7M in salary owed.

Same can be said for Tangs- however, Cammy has a lot more value~ a lot of teams would love to have this guy so I don't think we should under-value him just because he is on the Flames.
