Yeah that's the thing. I'm not sure what it is, but Monahan and Lindholm scream Gagner and Backlund to me. Both are alright 3rd liners... possibly second liners, but Nurse seems like he's a sure fire top pairing Defenceman, which this team desperately needs.
I'm starting to think that I would rather take Nichushkin or Nurse over Monahan or Lindholm.
