No one "wants" to be part of a rebuilding team and likely write their ticket to an April golf vacation. Personally, I would question the motive of any player in the latter part of their prime if they want to be part of a rebuilding team.
Asking if he would like it, isn't quite the same as asking if he is willing to stick around and do his part.

I totaly agree that it was a "loaded question". The tone in his voice and the way he answered the questions made it really seem like if they can not compete for a playoff spot soon he rather not be around. Ican't blame him for that.
Rhetts just after the trade deadline said it best when he said that most 30+ veterans that can still play in the top 6 F or top 4 D want nothing to do with a rebuild. He went on to say that the flames will have a tough time getting "real" top 6 veteran players to come into Calgary and help mentor.
As for what to do with Cammi, trade him at the deadline. I am not so worried about him as much as Tanguay only because it is a contract year for Cammi. Cammi will play hard for future $'s and can be traded at the deadline. It is very imperative to trade Tanguay now. You don't want 2 veterans in your top 6 wanting out.
