My point was simply that requiring the user to be online to play an offline game is a requirement that adds zero benefit and introduces risk where I could invalidate my license through no fault of my own. From a cost-benefit standpoint from the user's perspective, it simply doesn't add up, especially when there is a viable, cheaper alternative available without the same restriction. The only logical reason I really see to chose XBone is if you're particularly interested in Kinect or their exclusive offerings.
