How about we get really good, really fast....due to really strong drafting and development, stockpile a ton of valuable young assets and because we have so many good young assets, the summer before the 2015 draft we send one of those young, valuable asset to a team that thinks they are better than they really are for their 2015 1st round pick. Inevitably they have a train wreck and we draft McDavid with their 1st round pick.
