I hope we can make this same offer to Florida, minus the Florida/St.Louis pick and throw a roster player in instead so we can keep a 1st, and still draft MacKinnon, but of course this all depends on Colorado taking Seth Jones and would be done at the draft.

Thats the thing... drafting wise. I know many will say "our drafting is better lately" (unproven) but look at how many forwards we have drafted successfully in the past 15 years. I flip flop whether I think the three 1st for McKinnon is a good idea, but I'm leaning towards "yes" and go with the sure thing.
