Calgary needs to draft two or three roster players out of this draft and do the same next year. In year three, sell everything to get Connor McDavid. Right now though, need bodies.
Need to draft and season guys like Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, Bolland and then trade some serious pieces to move up for home-runs.
You get a bunch of home runs now, you're in the situations the oilers find themselves in: A bunch of high priced young talent without roleplayers and cap friendly Entry Level deals that allow you to win.
Would not have lost my mind to draft Jones or McKinnon, though.
