In almost every move Feaster has gotten a smaller less physical player.
He has brought in Cammalleri, Hudler, Byron, Butler, Cervenka, Wideman, signed Tanguay long term. He panic signed Babchuk (big but butter soft). Even the moves that have worked out: Smith, Baertschi and Horak are all below NHL average size and grit.
Watching the playoffs you can see that the NHL is not reducing contact. It is getting rid of fighting but it will always be a full contact physical game.
Then Feaster , in this press conference, stands up and says that the Flames need to get bigger and more physical......DUH!!! After doing the exact opposite at every opportunity.
