Should I remind you that you're the one who decided to come into this thread yapping about Phoenix for no apparent reason? I'm not sure where your bizarre fixation comes from.
I don't see how 'my side' can look less reasonable, seeing as I have no side. If the NHL moves the Coyotes to Seattle tomorrow I will not care. If they moved them to Brooklyn I'd be ecstatic, as that's really the only place that it would have the slightest bit of an impact on my life. The case I have argued is the NHL's business case for a team in Phoenix, which contrary to your oh so intelligently crafted arguments, goes beyond 'Bettman says so'. Whether that business case is intelligent remains to be seen, although it seems quite clear that the NHL will not continue to own a team in the market going forward. There are numerous reasons for why the NHL is in the position it is in today, ranging from the threat that the Balsille lawsuit posed to the entire operating model of professional sports in North America to the potential desire to preserve certain markets for expansion rather than relocation. You consistently pretend that this is a simple situation with simple answers and explanations, when nothing could be further from the truth.
My comments towards you are borne out of frustration at your continued desire to twist facts and statements, be intentionally obtuse, ignore counter points and generally act like a fool on the entire issue. I generally have no issues with you, but when it comes to discussing this topic I have run out of any desire for niceties.
As for the signature, that is a quote from another user, hence the "-Est1980", but nice try.
