It was posted earlier and at the risk of being a tin foil hat owner - Microsoft was the first major tech company to hop on the PRISM program. The one that has people in the US all up in arms. The NSA and FBI have to be soiling themselves at the thought of a mic and an impressive camera in every living room.
Likely? Probably not, but it was pretty obviously a terrible call and customers were quick to raise concerns.
