It's going to be interesting when the Kinect "films" a robbery/murder/major crime etc. Will prosecutors look to contact Microsoft and use such recordings in a trial? Has the idea of such an event even come up, as with the Kinect needing to be always on, certainly it is going to film its share of criminal acts.

Furthermore, what sort of legalities will transpire from this? Does the buyer own the rights to what Microsoft is filming, or would they be able to hand over anything criminal to the authorities. What about threats towards others, and the like? I don't know if this is even possible, but it has to be if the Kinect is going to be online every minute of the day when its connected.
