What was the poll question? Was it:
Should the CBC funding be reduced and moved towards a more American style system of user funding, like PBS?
or
Should the CBC, particularly CBC radio, look for other avenues of funding, ie: advertising, thereby allowing for a reduction in gov't funding?

Yes, I feel that way. Do you have an issue with dissent? I would much rather CBC, used other funding sources, radio ads, funding drives, etc. I would rather the funds that went to the CBC were directed elsewhere, Military, Coast Guard, National Parks, a host of other options.
