I must say, I'm kind of disappointed at how some Flames fans are acting and the hostility towards Iginla for exercising his right to use his NTC. I know people like making fun of Oiler fans and how they behaved after the whole Pronger incident, but I don't see how Flames fans are behaving now to be any different.

But your second point stands. This is embarrassingly turning out to be something similar to how Leafs fans acted towards Sundin, when Sundin gave nothing back to help the Leafs rebuild.
