Most of the people I am friendly with hate this county. It is probably more corrupt than Dade County (Miami). That place was rebuilt by drug lords really.
North Carolina is out. Lots of people say West Coast of US or Colorado. I'm not 100% sure I can handle the cold on a daily basis, but I loooove Alaska.
I have sooo many books about the history of Florida. Greed, exploitation and corruption just because it doesn't snow. I'm surprised they didn't take out all the Glades a long time ago.
To continue this rant, I'll add that I want out of the suburbs. They are an overrated useless pile of crap.
