There are a dozen Crown Corporations that don't use the word Canada, Canadian, Federal or National in their name and there are only about 50 crown corporations. Who cares what they call themselves?

He makes a poor choice by going the "us vs them" route and trying to rile people up with this antiquated 20th century nationalistic fervor. The separatists (if this is in fact motivated in that direction, which he only implies) are just as much a part of the Canadian cultural mosaic as you or I, get over it.

The argument that "what a waste of 400,000 dollars! The average Canadian would take 10 years to make that much money!". While that is true, that's not the point that matters. $400,000 dollars is 0.000002 percent of the annual budget. Which means if you worked for 2000 hours last year, about 15 seconds of that went into that name change. I've had farts longer than that.
